Actions speak louder than words

Hey lovelies!

So I know lately my posts have been all over the place, that's because I've been so busy with things that I just haven't had time to properly sit down and write something worth reading - yes the first step is to admit it

However, there are always a handful of people who comment because they can relate to my rambling and it really means a lot that you guys try to put up with my random and bizarre explanations for things.

I thought I'd look through my many hats and try to find my serious cap but unfortunately the only one I could find at this hour was my over thinking/wise-wannabe beret so I guess that'll have to do.

So by the title of this post, I am sure that you know what I'm about to talk, or should I say, rant about... hmm nahh i'll stick to talking to you guys!

I'm sure you all can relate to me when I say that on numerous occasions people have let me down through their actions when their words have promised it all -Woah getting dramatic here.
Basically, if you're struggling to comprehend what I am trying to say, I am talking about the fact that some people say one thing but do the complete opposite!

It is ridiculous the amount of times that has happened to me and to be honest with you, I guess it won't bother me as people's words don't mean anything to me anymore.
They have to prove themselves to me for me to even believe a single thing anyone says because it is so easy to make promises you don't mean just to keep someone on your side.

To say one thing yet to do another is the most common thing I've ever come across. It's a lie told to your face and it may not ring a bell in the crisis department but it definitely bruises a friendship. With enough bruises this ship's sinking faster than the Titanic.

I really should stop writing posts so late at night...
But anyway
What do you think? Do actions speak louder than words?
What are YOUR thoughts? let me know in the comment section below!
I probably should get some sleep!
Good night lovelies!
Be kind to one another!

Lots of of love, Karine xx

  2. So true. Actions definitely speak louder than words. People don't do half of what they say they will. :(

  4. I didn't learn this lesson until I got older. I trusted so many people and they let me down. I believed them. Maybe I was gullible, but I didn't think certain people would do that to me. I was very disappointed. I've since developed a thick skin. I've become very direct with friends and professionals. If we're not on the same wavelength I part ways. LOL It's just better for everybody. For some people it's really hard for them to be honest or they tell half truths. I'm a it is what it is person. It's either black or white. I don't mess with gray areas. Leave the fuzzy's for plush dolls. Tell things to me straight. I can handle that. All this beating around the bush is for the dogs. HAHAHAH

  5. I totally know what you're talking about and it hurts a hell of a lot when you're let down. I think it's so great this is something you've discovered now, rather than later when you're working full-time and people are stomping their way over your head to the top. Friendships can be pretty messy, but I think small sins can be forgiven. We all make mistakes and we wouldn't have any friends left otherwise!

By the way, I beauty tagged you on a post so you might want to check that out and fill out the questions yourself. Just because you're one of my fave bloggers! Rosemary x

It's probably because I'm older ;) but I'm past that drama of people who let others down. It is what it is. Get up and move on. Expect nothing and be amazed of what life unfolds for you!
